GHAZI SIKANDER MIRZA
Ghazi Sikander Mirza is a visual artist from Lahore. He graduated from the National College of Arts in 2016 with a Bachelors's in Fine Arts. Currently, he is pursuing his MFA from Parsons School of Design.
His work follows the daily strife of life in an urban city. You can find visuals of massive crowds gathered for the 9th Muharram Jaloos, an ode to his own religious upbringing, scenes of traffic from his hometown, and the amassment of people in his work. The play of the vantage point with the dance of the scale and forms creates an almost theatrical play for the viewer to engage with.
